Face shapes fall into seven categories: oval, oblong, round, heart, square, triangle, and diamond. Determining your face shape isn’t quite as easy as it sounds, and some people find they are a combination of two face shapes.

According to the mathematical dimensions of your face, there are seven type of face shapes are invented.
1. Hairstyles for Oval Face Shape
An oval face has a chin line that is narrower than foreheads. This shape is the most flexibility. Sharpen in on facial structure to determine which styles reduce flaws and highlight assets. Volume at the circlet has a light effect. Heavy bangs or too much volume may overshadow your face.
2. Hairstyles for Oblong Face Shape

3. Hairstyles for Round Face Shape
In round face shape the width and length is equal. Appearing your face narrower add volume to the crown. The short and long hairstyle with angled bob and side swept bangs suits on the face. Normally the center part covers the round forehead.
4. Hairstyles for Heart Face Shape
In this facial shape the forehead is quite thicker with a narrow jaw. You can wear medium and long hairstyle with long side swept bangs. Avoid blunt cut, short bob cut, sharp choppy layers.
5. Hairstyles for Square Face Shape
A square face has a strong chin line and a cube jaw. The length and width are about equal in face. In this facial shape you can wear short and medium hairstyle with wispy and side swept bangs. You just avoid long straight cut or blunt cut.
6. Hairstyles for Triangular Face Shape
In this facial feature the forehead seems quite narrow so it gives symmetrical appearance. Short and Medium hairstyle with wide, layered and wispy bangs are suits for this facial shape. Avoid such hairstyles that create abundance at the jaw line or illustrate to the chin.
7. Hairstyles for Diamond Face Shape
Any type of hair styles can suits in this facial shape. For widen the chin area chooses style that are wider at the jaw line. The classic bob cut and a long side-swept bang look trendy. Try to avoid hair on the face.
