Chilblains are the irritation of the skin with burning and itching sensation. Chilblains generally occur on the toes, fingers, nose, ears and face. It is very painful and can be reduce within fewer periods.
Symptoms of Chilblains
The common symptoms of chilblains are burning sensation on the affected area, painful scratches and feeling irritation and itching on the skin.
Causes of Chilblains
Chilblains are generally caused by an irregular effect of the body due to cold. Other causes of Chilblains are poor nutrition, low temperature, humidity, poor blood circulation, allergies. Wearing of very fitting shoes also causes chilblains on the toes.
Treatments and Prevention for Chilblain
Here are some of the useful home remedies for Chilblains which represent in below.
Rub the pieces of raw onion on the affected area regularly. It will help to reduce the seventy percent itching. It is one of the best natural remedy for chilblains.
Prepare a paste by taking a tablespoon of honey, one egg white, little amount of glycerin, and some flour. Apply this paste on the affected area and after 6 hour clean it with water. It also helps to reduce chilblains.
Rub a small piece of potato by adding some salt all over the chilblains. It will help to remove the redness and irritation on the skin.
Apply the garlic juice on the affected area and leave it for sometime, then wash with warm water. This is also a very effective home treatment for chilblains.
Massage warm vegetable oil on the affected area as well as the other parts of your body b adding some drops of lemon juice. It will help to remove the chilblains.
Keep your complete body warm by wearing warm clothes. It will prevent from chilblains.
Apply anti itchy cream or lotion all over the chilblains. It will reduce itching, swelling and inflammation on the skin.
