Blue nevi are otherwise known as blue moles which are generally seen in Asian people. It is one type of skin cancer that occurs in the surface of the body and stay in the body for long time, but it is not dangerous.

Variants of Blue Nevi

There are two different variants of the blue nevus or blue mole; these are common blue nevus and cellular blue nevus. The blue nevi are found in the United State often in the adults.

Symptoms of Blue Nevi

Blue nevi are commonly visible on the head, upper areas of hands and feet, and pelvic region and it varies from gray blue colour to blue and then black. Sometimes the lesions from blue nevi are very painful.

Treatments for Blue Nevi

Blue nevi do not require any treatments as it are risk free. If it appears currently then you can remove it by consulting doctor.

You can remove it only by surgical method after taking injection of local anaesthetic. It will take maximum 20 to 25 minutes.

The easy process for removal of blue nevi is freezing the nevi till it drop on its own.

The nevi or lesions those are deep-seated, so surgery becomes an essential else the mole can produce into a lymph node and creates problems for later.
